Monkey Safety Nets In Hyderabad. Every year, hundreds of monkeys are killed on the streets of Hyderabad. In an effort to protect these animals, the city has installed monkey safety nets in several areas.
The nets cost approximately Rs. 18 to 20rs per square foot and are made of strong nylon or polyester mesh. They are designed to catch monkeys that fall from trees or buildings, and prevent them from being hit by vehicles.
So far, the nets have been successful in saving many monkey lives. They have also reduced the number of property damage cases caused by monkeys.
